On May 15, 1975 I became a amputee.
The reason for my my amputation was because I was born with neurofibromas, or NF. This cause curvature of the tibia, or pseudarthrosis in my left leg.
My co-host on Direct Talk Di Chapman turns the tables and interviews me about what it’s like to be an amputee. I really appreciate Di and Tarryn Hoff (Direct Talk producer) giving me the chance to shine some light on this topic.
More than anything I hope that sharing my story will encourage others.
Check out our other interviews on Direct Talk and GoTarryn! TV.
